“Your staff team is a credit to the profession,
I only wish all the homes that I assess in had such dedicated staff
who have such levels of respect for the people they are caring for”.

COVID 19 Information

At Offmore Farm Residential Home, we are doing everything we can to keep our residents and staff safe.
The safety of our residents of the utmost importance and is always at the heart of everything we do. The Home is even more thoroughly cleaned and cleaning practices are constantly reviewed alongside the up to date government guidelines. Hand Sanitisers and PPE dispensers have been sited along the corridors and the entrance to our Home. All carpets have been replaced with hard flooring to enable deep cleaning. Our Home is unique offering 28 well equipped bedrooms, 2 lounges and a conservatory area.

Our main priority
Throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic has been to protect our residents and our staff. Because of this, we have put in place some extremely robust procedures to ensure the risk of Covid-19 for our residents and to our colleagues is minimised.
Our Staff are tested regularly and Residents monthly. This rigorous COVID-19 testing process enables us to track and report on data trends with clear guidelines on steps to take should there be any positive results or adverse spikes in the data.

There has been much in the media about personal protective equipment (PPE), we are fortunate that we are and will remain well stocked with all items needed to continue to keep our residents and teams safe throughout the Coronavirus crisis. These include face visors, face masks, gloves and aprons. A number of PPE dispensers and Hand sanitizers have been sited along all corridors and at the entrance to our Home.

Our Staff are already in receipt of training in infection control/infectious diseases.
As a company, we have invested in infection control around COVID-19 donning and doffing of protective equipment.

Temporary restrictions on visits:
Taking into account the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic and following the government’s advice, we request that all non-essential visits to our care homes are postponed until further notice.

We are taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the optimum safety of our employees, residents and the local community, but we also rely on you to help us protect our most vulnerable residents by staying at home.
We are continuing to closely monitor the government advice daily and will remove these restrictions as soon as it is safe to do so.
Our home has access to the internet, phone lines, Skype and WhatsApp where you can keep in touch with your loved ones at all times.
